The Garden Pool
The design idea started from the name of development “Ashjar” from Arabic, meaning “Tree Canopy” for our Middle East project. We have imagined the site as a dense forest with big trees. The landscape was designed to be built with minimum impact to the existing woodland which guide us to stretch the outdoor function areas include the central outdoor swimming pool.
We played around with the curvilinear and organic form and left some key features stand out from the common design language. While collaborating with the architecture team and the client, we arrived to the final approach of having an organic main outdoor pool which connected to the lazy pool snaking through the grove of tree canopies.
