Natural grasses and ornamental grasses are always associated with water, waterfront, wetland, etc. 

Is it a coincident, a designer wish or a respect to the environmental/ geographic conditions? 

 

We came across plenty of natural grasses along the water edges of Lake Ontario in Canada, whether exist in nature or planted in landscape gardens.
