June 2016, the world-renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero hold his first exhibition in Hong Kong.  Nine monumental sculptures were exhibited in Central Harbourfront Event Space.  

 

The larger-than-life-size bronze sculptures of the human form, cast in his signature style, also known as "Boterismo", depicts people and figures in large, exaggerated volume appeared in good contrast with vertical lines of high-rises in Central District.
