With the excitement of this game in an outdoor environment, we co-created the alien theme for the opposing teams with the event producer.  Battlefields were planned with each alien designed and arranged to create 2 stages for fighting.

We also design the space for the chess game to create a sense of place and physical identity for the chess players to fight for the championship. 

The design and arrangement of site were to simulate a chess boarding field and the giant chess were to anchor the space to provide a sense of orientation.
